Durban July Highlights: Mark Khoza Brings the House Down at Konka Marquee
The Konka Marquee at this years Hollywoodbets Durban July which hosted music lovers, and the elite at this year’s biggest horse racing event was the highlight of the event when MC, Producer and vocalist Mark Khoza took onto the stage.
He was not booked to perform at this year’s Durban July, but when he was convinced to jump on stage, he set it alight.
His new single, Ma’Lacoste, is a smash even before the massive release. Popular at nightclubs, gatherings, and events, the song won the dance floor at this year’s Hollywood Durban July.
“I was not part of the line-up, I just went there to have fun with friends, but they just gave me the mic. The vibe was low at the time, but I jumped on stage and killed it,” Mike Khoza says.
“People started dancing when I had the mic. Everyone was so happy, I think it was around midnight. I jumped on Leehleza’s set. It was me, Vulela Maweekend, and Angeke Babuye, MC. The reception has been amazing. People just really love great music, and the Durban July showed us that we have some of the best music. The song took over the Durban July, and it will take over the world, ” Mark Khoza added.
